This is the final photo of Plum Creek lands. Following our 5 mile bike ride, during which we gained 2,000 feet in elevation, we are thankful to be leaving Plum Creek lands. The trailhead to the West Fork of Gold Creek – a popular recreation trail that leads through unroaded wildlands of the Lolo National Forest and into the Rattlesnake Wilderness Area – lies just 300 yards beyond this point.
