Another disturbing part of this logging project is that the Forest Service is planning to log within 500 feet of the Rattlesnake Wilderness boundary. In fact, the Forest Service is planning to log this close to the Wilderness boundary for over 1/3 of a mile. This project is also located at least 15 miles from the nearest home or community.
