Essential Legal Trainings
QUEBEC CITY AND BURLINGTON, VT CONVERGENCE - BOUND ACTIVISTS AND TRAINERS. TRAINING FOR TRAINERS

Friday, March 30th, 4 PM-6 PM
Martin Luther King Jr. Lounge
Billings Student Center
University of Vermont
Burlington, VT

Facilitated by members of CLAC (Anti-Capitalist Convergence, Montreal), People's Law Collective, NYC, VT Mobilization For Global Justice Legal Team, and possibly members of the Boston Legal Collective.

This training will be focused on preparing legal trainers to train activists and disseminate legal information, i.e. activist rights on U.S./Canadian soil, activist rights at the border and during border actions, how to not talk to the police, what to do if you are arrested, etc., etc.

This will be an essential training for activists doing legal support during the days of action, as we will need to be giving mutiple legal trainings to activists passing through Burlington on their way to actions in the North.
